Professor Stalina Villarreal's WATCHA is a masterwork of style, form, and poetry. She combines many styles with vivid imagery inspired by photographs she also created, which delve into her life and reveal our community's hearts and histories. She is a long-time member of Nuestra Palabra, a Librotraficante, and Chicana pedigree, as her late mother, Maria Jimenez, was an internationally recognized activist who paved the way for our generation to flourish.
