This potent print dramatizes the exploration of identity in Latino Poetry The Library of America Anthology. NP is proud to have commissioned this print.

Monica Villarreal is an Aztec Danzante, visual artist, activist and community leader who has been part of the Nuestra Palabra family for years. NP commissioned this print titled LABELS to illustrate one of the concepts examined in in Latino Poetry: The Library of America Anthology edited by Rigoberto Gonzalez.

This print is a powerful addition to the work. It highlights some of the issues examined by poems in the book. This print is a powerful work of art on its own. It also is a powerful way for educators to examine some of the issues addressed directly and indirectly.

For more information, tune in to the NP Broadcast featuring Monica.

Purchase your signed copies of the anthology and the print. Both are powerful additions to family, public, and underground libraries.
